December 15, National Wreaths Across America Day

Did you know…

About National Wreaths Across America?

Wreaths Across America‘s mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

Their goal: Remember our fallen U.S. Veterans. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom.

There are various ways to get involved with Wreaths Across America. Visit their website for information about how you can volunteer to help in the future.

Here’s a few pictures taken this year by my cousin while volunteering to help during the ceremony held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. (Double click the picture to see full size.)

Remember to thank a veteran.
